Love Where You Live: Tampa Is Finally Feeling The Love

“We’ll just come out and say it: We love Tampa. Like, looooove love.

“From its natural attractions to its people, cultures, communities, history, and food  – we love its every everything. Maybe it’s the warmer weather that has us waxing sentimental. Maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day has us feeling warm-and-fuzzy. Whatever it is, we’re feeling the love.

“And we’re not alone. Because according to recent headlines, it seems the love has traveled around the country. And it’s about time.

“So excuse us while we #humblebrag a little here or, rather, let countless other news and media outlets do it for us.”

5 of The Best Beaches in Tampa Bay

“Listen. We’re not going to be like everyone else and complain about this cooler weather. It’s refreshing and a nice change of pace if you ask us – but it doesn’t mean we aren’t daydreaming about some warm sand between our toes and some impossibly fruity beverage with a tiny cocktail umbrella in hand.

“So while we bide our time until warmer weather prevails, let’s start planning our next beach trip to five of the top beaches in the Tampa Bay area.

“Note: While not included on this list, old faithfuls like Indian Rocks Beach, Clearwater Beach, St. Pete Beach and Treasure Island are still favorites for us, too.”

Foodies, Rejoice: Here Are The Top-10 Best Restaurants in Tampa Bay

“We’ll admit it: We tend to have a one-track mind. We eat, sleep, breathe and live for real estate. But real estate is so much more than the brick-and-mortar of a property.

“‘Like what?’ you may ask yourself.

“We’re so glad you asked! Real estate, at least in our humble opinion, is everything that makes that particular parcel of land home. So sure, it’s its location, its curb appeal, its specs, its layout, and its amenities. But it’s also its community – its school district, its neighbors, its local businesses and – arguably one of our favorite selling points – its walking score. Or, at least in Tampa’s case, its walk-slash-bike-slash-driving score.

“Tampa has long been regarded as the place for certain cuisine – ahem, Food Network recently named the Cuban sandwich at the Columbia the ‘quintessential Cuban sandwich.’ Take that, Miami. But Tampa has also been somewhat quietly broadening its foodie horizons with some of the most inventive, delicious and thoughtful cuisines – and thankfully, the Tampa Bay Times just published a list of the top-10 best restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.

“So the next time you find yourself hemming-and-hawing about where to eat, consider any one of these 10 mouth-watering restaurants.
